OUR PROJECTS Close MEDICAL CAMP - 2019 MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT Close CAMPAIGN TO END CHILD MARRIAGES AND TEENAGE PREGNANCIES Objectives: To create awareness and educate community gate keepers like parents, religious leaders, cultural leaders, political leaders among others about the advantages of educating girls and the risks/effects of child marriages and teenage pregnancies. To advocate for development and implementation of policies e.g. A district action plan that will hold parents, leaders and stakeholders accountable for children out come and end child marriages and teenage pregnancies. Close HIV/AIDS AND SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS (STIs) CONTROL Objective: Mobilize communities and stakeholders to provide information, care and linkages to treatment and rehabilitation services with strong emphasis on children, youths and most at risk populations. Close PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION Objectives: Create awareness and educate masses about disease prevention at individual, house hold, and community level. Improve the community members’ attitude towards health care and promote a good health seeking behavior. Close MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT Objective: Educate girls, parents, and teachers and involve men/boys on Menstrual Hygiene management matters and how different stakeholders can support girls during their periods. Close YOUTH SKILLS DEVELOPMENT Objective: The project aims at identifying, building and supporting young people to acquire and utilize entrepreneurship and life sustaining skills. Close MEDICAL OUTREACHES AND MISSIONS Objective; To mobilize and coordinate partners to provide medical and health services to communities in hard to reach areas and most at risk populations including screening/testing, treatment of common illnesses, and providing linkages and referrals to improved medical management for complicated cases. Close HEALTH SYSTEM STRENGTHENING PROJECT Objective; The project aims at building platforms at community, district and national level to discuss, address and improve the gaps and challenges that exist in the health services delivery system including community evaluation of health services at health center levels.
